External clubs and organisations at Joseph Hood
Several external organisations hire our facilities and run clubs at our school. These clubs can be accessed by children from our wider community as well as Joseph Hood pupils. The dance school, with its happy environment has a professional and enthusiastic approach with a high standard of teaching under the direction of Jennifer Siegeris RAD Teaching Diploma, RAD RTS, AISTD DDE, Enhanced DBS Check.
The dance school run ballet classes, modern and tap; encouraging the joy of movement in children from 3 years of age.

Sports club for Primary school children
Futsal is played with a half size ball; heavier than standard on a small court. Having a smaller playing area forces all players to fully participate to be involved, which in turn, fast-tracks the attainment of skill, technique & decision making.
Tuesday from 6pm-9pm, Thursday 7pm-9pm and Saturday Mornings

Spanish Saturday School for children up to 14 years old.
Saturday, 10am to 2pm.
It’s our mission for children to master the Spanish language through different activities that compliment the entire education system. Activities include Sport, Theatre, Art, Music and Debate. The learning process is accompanied by native-speaking, qualified Spanish teachers with experience in Spanish and UK education.
