The Farm comes to School!

In Early Years, we had Mill Cottage Farm visit us on Monday 16th May. We had so much fun touching and stroking the animals and even giving them a brush. Nursery loved exploring the rabbits called Mopsy, Flopsy and Cottontail. Nursery were very brave when stroking the pigs, sheep, goats and donkeys.

Reception enjoyed learning about what the routine is for the animals, how they are looked after and what their diet is. The children had brilliant questions for Farmer Sarah including, where do the animals sleep? How many animals do you have on your farm? One of our favourite parts of the farm visit was looking and talking about the different animal's poo! Farmer Sarah had brought with her donkey's poo, sheep's poo and guinea pig poo to compare!

What a fantastic day had by everyone!
