Year 3 take part in Tate Modern Project

On Wednesday 10th July, Year 3 Parrots and Year 3 Toucans had the opportunity to take part in a ground breaking new Artist's project which will eventually be exhibited at the Tate Britain in London.

 

The photographer, Steve McQueen has embarked on a project which has involved a team of photographers travelling around London to take a photograph of every Year 3 class in every primary school in the city.

 

The team have very nearly achieved their goal this year and the photographs will be on display in the Tate Britain as part of a huge exhibition in early Spring 2020. The current Year 3 children will have the opportunity next year to visit the exhibition! Our photographs will be amongst over 3000 others so be sure to look closely to spot us!
