Yet again, another fantastic year of entries for the Young Writers' Competition! It was amazing to see so many of you across the school take part - I think this year is the most number of children we've ever had take part which is brilliant! I have spent a lot of time over the past couple of weeks reading all of your entries and I have been blown away by your creativeness! From inspiring and thought-provoking poems to original and exciting narratives, it has been wonderful to read all of your unique interpretations of 'My Name is...'
Needless to say, it has been extremely difficult to decide which entries were going to be put forward to the judges, however, decide I must as, as you know, only 3 entries could be chosen per age group per category.
I am sure you'll join me in congratulating the following children:
Nell H (Year 3)
Ariana C (Year 4)
Morton C (Year 4)
Abigail F (Year 4)
Anjali K (Year 4)
Iris V (Year 4)
Tara A (Year 6)
Amelia C (Year 6)
Caleb C (Year 6)
Sammy H (Year 6)
Teddy M (Year 5)
David V (Year 5)
Well done to all of you who submitted an entry - you should be very proud of yourselves! Everyone will receive a certificate for taking part and we now have a bit of a wait to find out how the children listed do in the competition!
