• Year 5 Visit to The British Museum

  On Thursday 26th September, year 5 visited the British Museum to explore the huge collection of Egyptian objects, such as the Rosetta Stone, the magnificent wall paintings from Nebamun's tomb and sculptures of Ramesses II and dried mummies. They really enjoyed a workshop to learn all about the mummification process and explore aspects of life in ancient Egypt.

  

• Bowls

  Every year, year 6 play against other schools in the annual bowls competition. This year we entered 10 players forming 2 teams, whose scores were combined. We started off slowly, losing to Benedict Primary School, but improving steadily with a great result to finish off against Garfield Primary School. Overall the team came a well-deserved second and picked up the silver medals.
