• Year 3 and 4 Boys Inclusive Football Festival

  Some of our Year 3 and 4 boys attended a football inclusive festival on Wednesday 29^th March. They managed to win every game that they played!  A very well done to our Y3 and 4 boys team!

  

• Year 4 celebrate British Science Week!

  In Science today we were looking at connections for British Science week.  We were being an immune system and hitting germs with magnetic darts.  The connection is if you eat healthily, sleep well and exercise, you will help your immune system fend off germs more easily.

• Bookfest 2023

  Year 6 classes had a fantastic time on Monday 27th February at Wimbledon Theatre Bookfest session with Sir Lenny Henry.   His books are  include 'The Boy with Wings: Attack of the Rampaging Robot' which is a 2023 World Book Day selection. This book follows on from his 'The Boy with Wings' and 'The Book of Legends'​.

  He chatted with the children after the talk while signing each book for every child.  What a lovely man! Thank you Sir Lenny!

  

• World Book Day Assembly

  We are celebrating World Book Day today in school! Today we decided it would be great to come into school in our pyjamas and onesies, and bring our favourite books to school. 

  We have a busy day to get though.  We are focusing on Poetry in class and we have a special Storyteller in the Library-The Fairy Book Mother!

  As we are all in our pyjamas, does that mean we get to take a nap this afternoon too? 

  

• It's WORLD BOOK DAY!

  Our classroom doors have suddenly turned into books! The children are going around the school and will vote for their favourite one!
